Subsidy scheme on Agriculture Solar Submersible Pump
The Government of West Bengal takes the initiative to promote solar energy and gives up to 60% subsidy on Solar Operated Irrigation water pumps. The eligible farmers who purchase from enlisted vendor companies, get the subsidy amount. From 02 Hp, 3Hp & 5 Hp Solar Submersible and Surface Pumps are available in this scheme.
Subsidy scheme on Rooftop On-Grid Solar System
The government of India takes initiative to promote solar energy. The state subsidy of 40% for rooftop systems should be available up to 3 kW and 20% for a range between 3 kW to 10 kW. These should be installed and commissioned by private residential consumers. However, the subsidy should be limited to the maximum capacity of 10 kW.

As the Scheme is to be implemented WBSEDCL/CESC therefore, the residential consumer who wishes to seek Subsidy (CFA) has to approach the WBSEDCL/CESC empanelled Vendors (listed below) entrusting for installation of rooftop solar plant and get the subsidy benefit through WBSEDCL.
